10 Turns to…

Here we are, the first board game on our roster, well sort of. As I said “Glorious idea inferno.” We’ve had a number of games move past the single cell organism stage, but so far few manage to get past the first round of player testing, where we subject some of our helpless friends to them. 10 turns to… is different. First off it doesn’t even have a proper name as the very core of the game’s awesomeness was too much to allow us to waste brain cells on trivial things like what to call it. It generally has different names based on which of us is describing it so here it is; 10 turns to…

So in a nutshell the game consists of 10 turns (I know the name throws a curve ball there) in which you, a group of space researchers have to gather resources from your ship and fill the escape pod before blasting off into the depths of space. Why only 10 turns? Well the on board computers artificial intelligence has deemed the crew and ship to be compromised by some unknown life form that’s prowling the ship, drawn by sound and killing/maiming all it comes into contact with. Sounds cool right? “glorious idea inferno!”

So far 10 turns has undergone two major rules changes and is really picking up speed towards actual production so watch this space, and twitter, and facebook… in fact watch all the spaces and maybe there will be more information soon.
